Junior Referee Program

Pitt Town Football Club is striving to provide our non competition teams with in house referees for home games.

Learning to referee and leading junior games is a great skill and offers kids an opportunity to build confidence and take on responsibility.

To achieve this, we invite and encourage our players aged 12 years and over to participate in our Junior Referee Program.

All referees are provided training, water/ can of drink and up to $20 per game.

What to wear?

We are introducing a Junior Referee Jersey in 2024! All trained junior refs will receive their PTFC Ref Jersey and are required to wear their PTFC shorts, socks and football boots.

How to choose games each week

All games are entered into our ‘Sign Up Genius’ with a link available to all registered refs/ parents.

Choose 2 games for each Saturday. Depending of ref availability, additional games may be offered.

On Game Day

• Game Leader/ referee bibs are available at the Canteen and should be collected at least 10 mins prior to the game
• Please introduce yourself to the Coaches of the game you will referee
• New referees should be accompanied by their parent/ guardian and/ or a mentor
• Upon completion of your allocated games, payment can be collected and signed for, at the Canteen
